Sylvère Lamotte’s choreographic work seeks to test the body and its limits. What can the body do? With each new piece, his answer is a wonder-filled discovery of the possibilities that dance can magnify, far beyond appearances and beyond questions of impairment, disability, or immobility. Tout ce fracas perfectly captures the radiance each of us has, and the growth each of us allows ourselves and builds, step by step. It is an artistic statement that we are all in motion, all in recovery, and that community carries us. Three dancers bare themselves without artifice and offer a brilliantly essential dance, anchored deep inside, where nothing can be hidden and no one can lie. What you hear is the crash of hope.
